Title: Straight Talk: Erestor’s Advice for the Lovelorn – Part 1
Series:
sue_ductive’s “Talk” Series
Authors:
sue_ductive and
fimbrethiel
LiveJournal: http://www.livejournal.com/users/fimbrethiel/
Email: fimbrethiel @ yahoo.com
Type: FPS
Pairing: various (implied)
Rating: PG
Warnings: seriously AU, questionable humor
Disclaimer: Don’t own the Elves, they are owned by Tolkien’s estate. Master Tolkien, I mean no harm. No profit has been made.
Beta: Er, no. We respect our betas too much to have subjected them to this.
Original date of completion: August 2004 (?)
Summary: Lord Erestor of Imladris decides to make his sage advice available to the Elven realms, and advertises a weekly “Advice for the Lovelorn” column in the Imladris Inquisitor.
Author’s Note: A while back on one of the Yahoo lists we participate in, Master Erestor (as written by Fim), being of sage wisdom and wise counsel, advertised his services and received a number of startling questions from the denizens of Middle-earth (Sue’s “Talk” characters). We thought it would be funny to do a story in a similar vein. Concrete evidence, folks, that neither of us is of right mind.
