8 Days of Happiness

DAY 5.
The thermometer hit 65 degrees F today. The sun is shining and it's a beautiful day. Parts of the yard are still buried under 12" of dirty snow, and the rest is mud and standing water, but we're making slow progress toward spring. While filling the bird feeder my foot sank 3" into mud. The weather is so lovely and mild that I don't even care that I'll need to fill a big rut as soon as the ground dries. :)
